By car

North, on the highway A22 on the way to Bennero.
take the Chiusa/Val Gardena exit from the Brennero A22 motorway and continue along the state road in the direction of Bolzano until Ponte Gardena (about 10 km). At Ponte Gardena take the road for the Sciliar plateau /Castelrotto. After about 10 minutes you'll arrive Castelrotto... when you arrive Castelrotto you have to drive until the Konsummarkt (COOP Supermarkt), there you go on under the woodbrige and on the first street on the left side is our hotel Kastel Seiser Alm.

take the Bolzano Nord exit from the Brennero A22 motorway and continue along the state road in the direction of Brennero until Prato Isarco. At Prato Isarco take the road for the Sciliar/Castelrotto/Alpe di Siusi plateau. (Distance from the motorway exit to Compatsch/Alpe di Siusi: approx. 27 km.), when you arrive Castelrotto you drive until the Konsummarkt (Coop Supermarkt), there you go under the woodbrige and on the first street on the left side is our hotel Kastel Seiser Alm.

The IC and EC trains stopp in Bolzano and Bressanone. Our Busses bring you to Castelrotto or we have also a pick-up service from the train station.

Im Tagesverlauf beginnt der Luftdruck zu sinken, die Höhenströmung dreht auf Südwest und die Luftmassen werden feuchter.
Vorhersage für heute
Am Nachmittag gibt es einen Wechsel aus Sonne und Wolken. Am Abend und in der Nacht kann es im Ulten- und Passeiertal schon etwas regnen.
Die Temperaturen erreichen Höchstwerte von 10° bis 18°.
Bei einem Mix aus Sonne und Wolken gibt es gutes Wanderwetter. In mittleren Lagen gibt es gebietsweise Nebelfelder.

Zunächst bestimmt eine feuchte Südwestströmung das Wetter, in der Nacht auf Dienstag überquert uns eine markante Kaltfront.
Vorhersage für morgen
Am Montag ist es trüb und im Tagesverlauf setzt verbreitet Regen ein. Von der Früh weg unbeständig ist es im Ulten- und Passeiertal, am längsten trocken bleibt es Richtung Pustertal. Im Laufe des Nachmittags intensivieren sich die Niederschläge, am Abend und in der Nacht auf Dienstag regnet es teils kräftig. Die Schneefallgrenze sinkt von anfangs über 2100 m in der Nacht auf ca. 1600 - 1300 m ab. Mit Frontdurchgang am Abend frischt teils stürmischer Wind auf.
Die Temperaturen bleiben gedämpft und erreichen 8° bis 13°.
Es ist grau in grau und teilweise regnet oder schneit es schon von der Früh weg. Tagsüber breiten sich die Niederschläge auf das ganze Land aus, Richtung Pustertal bleibt es teilweise bis in den Nachmittag hinein trocken. Schnee fällt tagsüber meist nur oberhalb von 2100 m. Auf den Bergen weht starker bis stürmischer Südwind.

In Italy, the Dolomites are the second area of this type, joining the Aeolian Islands, which were added to the list in 2000.

Alpe di Siusi

The Alpe di Siusi, Europe’s largest high-altitude plateau, is located in the heart of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 26th June 2009. This plateau, surrounded by the South Tyrolean Dolomites, is 33 km from Bolzano, above the famous villages of Siusi allo Sciliar and Castelrotto.

Even more romantic is a horse-drawn sleigh ride on the Alpi di Siusi. You could treat yourself to a leisurely day shopping. Talk over your active day nature in front of an open fire in the Apart-hotel bar.

Personal space: You’ll find enough space within our vast natural landscape to take a deep breath and enjoy your newly gained freedom. Our spaceous garden with playground offers enough space for relaxing and playing for the kids Enjoy an aperitive on our garden terrace Dolomiten-Lounge. Games- and fitness-room can be used, massages and body-treatments in our Beauty-Lounge can be booked. Pools and saunas (including the salt cave) are open, but the biosauna will be closed for the moment. The program Alps-Activ will be offered.

Pools: Swimming pool, whirlpool and children's pool are open from 8am until 9pm - maximum 22 people can stay inside the area at the same time - please change in your apartment and do not use the shower in the pool area
Saunas: the saunas are open from 5 to 9pm (including salt cave) - the biosauna remains closed

Fitness room: open from 8am to 8pm - here applies the distance rule of 1 metre (except family members)
Games room: open from 8am to 22pm - maximum 12 people are allowed at the same time – please use disinfectant spray
Beauty-Lounge: massages and treatments on request at the reception - mouth-nose protection obligatory, disinfection of hands and measurement of body temperature
Playground and park: open - please disinfect loungers as needed
AlpsActiv Programme: Active programme from Monday to Friday - Guided tours take place and can be booked until 6pm the day before
Towels: the change of towels (for minimum stays of 7 nights) is done in the middle of the week (Tuesday, Wednesday) - you will find your fresh towels in the designated locker in the vestibule/changing room of the pool area. Please deposit your dirty laundry in the laundry room for guests. Please ask at the reception for a change of bed linen or anything else.
